We would like to initiate a new project which brings together pupils (age 15-18) from different European countries to foster intercultural experiences and knowledge and further facilitate the use of the English language. To achieve this goal, students could present key facts about themselves, the city and country they live in and specific trends or cultural phenomenon of their respective home country. In addition, we would like the students to experience what it means to live in a borderless Europe and let them work out important key facts about Europe such as its history or current role in a globalized world.
OBJECTIVES:
*getting to know each other, the traditions and culture of participating countries;
*overcoming stereotypes and prejudices
*realising that cultural differences help bring people together
*learning about the advantages of a borderless Europe, its history and other important facts.
*improving students’ English language proficiency and reducing language barriers
*Improving students’ ICT skills through the use of applications and online tools for presentations, activities, evaluation
*improving students’ soft skills
